Registration, necessary or just annoying

About registration. It can be one what we could study... If you want to use something light and easy tool you dont want to register and receive advertisements to your email. That is the marketing point is this study. To get something you need to give someting else. In these cases your name and your email address. And after that you may get spam. But sending adverticements is one way to earn money. Even you get only half cent per sended mail but if you have thousands of addresses...

Study plan

Our group is going to going to study different kinds of social media tools such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and so on. Our group has been divided in two parts: the part A is investigating the good points of using social media tools and the other part is investigating the negative points for these tools. Based on our findings, the study result will be either that social media is worth of use or that it shouldn’t be used.
We are going to create and open account in some useful service and publish the result in this service. The research is based only on our groups’ opinions. Our group is going to get familiar as many tools as possible and make an analysis based on the results.

Some tools for the research:
  • facebook as an toll to create a query
  • google.docs to share documents
  • skype to communicate?
  • opening up a blogger.com page to gather information for others and write touhgts
  • signing in to different social medias like LinkedIn, facebook e.g. to get deeper to that world

Basically getting used to familiar and new channels and ways.

Our goals

  • to find out specific content of social media. It includes a lot, but what?
  •  to get familiar with these, but i am not interested in registering in new sites
  • learn to identify different available tools and to understand their meaning of use
  •  to be able to understand the time and place where is appropriate to use social media working tools
  • study and get familiar with different networks tools
  • to be able create an opinion weather the social media is needed or not
  •  possibly be able to use networks tools in work life

Pros and cons

"Pros" are the primary positive aspects of an idea, process, or thing; "Cons" are the primary negative aspects.

The term "Pros and Cons" means both the primary positive and negative aspects of an idea, process, or thing, and is often used to clarify or decide whether that idea, process, or thing is mainly positive or mainly negative.

Latin phrase pro et contra, 'for and against', and that it has been in use in the abbreviated form since the 16th century. In other words, it is a well established standard usage.

Few examples...

For example, when considering to go for a walk, you may look at the "Pros and Cons" of doing so, and decide whether walking is worth your time and effort or not. Some "Pros" might be that walking is a healthy activity that enhances your mental mindset and physical health. Some "Cons" might be that it requires work and you may get sweaty.

The pros of logging is that people can get furniture, wood, paper or homes but the cons are that wildlife is killed and forests are destroyed.
